Timo Scheider continued to stretch his lead at the head of the standings as Mattias Ekstrom led home an Audi 1-2-3-4 at the sixth round at the Dutch circuit of Zandvoort on July 13. Scheider followed Ekstrom over the line as Audi A4s locked out the podium and denied Mercedes even glimpse of a top three finish.

Shane Lynch, who recently enjoyed a successful touring comeback with former chart-toppers Boyzone, also made a triumphant return to the racetrack by winning his class in the second Dunlop Sport MAXX Cup race as part of the Great & British Dunlop Motorsport Festival at Donington Park.
