DEPPER TAKES A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Martin Depper strengthened his hopes of becoming crowned 2008 Mini Challenge champion with a double victory, winning both races at a well-supported Castle Combe racetrack in Wiltshire, which was the setting for the latest installment of the Great & British Dunlop Motorsport Festival. He'd finished third in the previous day's race, which was won by former title-holder Arthur Forster. The bridesmaid award went to Jack Stanford who took second place in all three races and somewhat ironically he now moves up to second overall as Depper's nearest challenger. In the Club class category of the series, Graham Parsons won all three races with Tim Crighton in second place every time.
